Meet Jennifer

You'll be working with me.

Jennifer Nelson, LCSW · Certified Grief Educator · EMDR · KAP Certified · CSTAT · Since 2007

I'm a grief, loss, and trauma specialist with years of clinical work alongside people facing the hardest losses. My work is warm, unhurried, and whole-person, integrating somatic and nervous system care, EMDR, breathwork, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), grief education, and relational support. We won't rush, and we won't stay in talk alone.

Questions

Before you begin.

Oak & Willow is a private-pay practice, which keeps your care confidential and lets us work in the way that best serves you rather than what a plan dictates. A superbill can be provided on request for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Both. In-person sessions are in Flower Mound, TX. Virtual sessions are available to anyone located anywhere in Texas.

Standard sessions are 50 minutes. Intensives run longer in a concentrated format.

That's exactly what the 'Find your path' quiz and a first conversation are for. We'll figure it out together — there's no wrong way to begin.

Grief and loss are at the heart of the work, but the method also serves trauma, life transition, and the 'other side' of addiction, betrayal, suicide, and abuse — plus end-of-life support.
